My WSOP cashes
It’s been a hectic few weeks here at the 40th Annual World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. I’m happy to report that I placed in the money in four of the tournaments I played in:
May 28 - $40,000 No Limit Hold-Em - 27th Place - $71,858 prize
June 2 - $2,500 2-7 Lowball – 17th Place - $4,094 prize
June 14 - $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. – 19th Place $5,906 prize
June 23 - $10,000 World Championship Pot Limit Hold-Em – 15th Place - $43,091 prize
I also won NBC TV’s “Poker after Dark” (week 9) taking a prize of $120,000. I am now taking a much-deserved break and getting ready to play in the “Ante Up For Africa” charity tournament, as well as the $10,000 buy-in World Series of Poker Main Event.
My family is out here in Las Vegas and it is always so much fun when we can all get together.
I’ll blog again soon with my results in the charity event as well as the Main Event.
‘Til Then,
V
